Who is affected by rosacea

About 13 million people in the United States have rosacea, a very common skin condition.1 It occurs more often in other parts of the world, especially in northern and eastern European countries.

Rosacea:

  • Usually begins between the ages of 30 and 60.
  • Is more common in women, but the severe cases are more common in men.
  • Is most common in people with fair skin, including those of northern and eastern European descent (such as Celtic, English, and Scottish), although it can occur with any skin color.
