Harold S. Nelson, MD - Allergy and Immunology
Dr. Nelson is a leading authority on asthma, allergy, and immunology. He is a well-known speaker on these subjects and is author or coauthor of more than 100 articles in peer-reviewed medical journals. Dr. Nelson is senior staff physician in the Department of Medicine at National Jewish Medical and Research Center in Denver. He received the Distinguished Clinician Award from the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology in 1996.
Dr. Nelson served in the U.S. Army Medical Corps for 30 years, retiring as a Colonel in 1986. From 1969 to 1986, he was Chief of the Allergy-Immunology Service at Fitzsimons Army Medical Center in Aurora, Colorado.
