Dr. Crichlow is an assistant clinical professor at the University of Washington, Montana Family Practice Residency, in Billings, Montana. Among her numerous research activities, she has received a minority supplement grant from the National Cancer Institute for a study of tamoxifen, of which Dr. J. Melnikow is the principal investigator.

Dr. Crichlow has received several awards for her outstanding leadership in family and community medicine and in women's health. During her medical education, she was the student clinic director at the Center for AIDS Research and Education Services.

She has served as associate medical director for Healthwise, Incorporated, since June 2002.
